Sarah Evans (nee Peel) MMedSci, BSc(Hons)
Sarah qualified in 2004 and worked at the St. Paul's Eye Unit at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital and Wrexham Maelor Hospital before relocating to Jersey in 2007.
She is the senior orthoptist at the Jersey General Hospital and specialises in visual screening, diagnosis and management of visually related specific learning difficulties.
Sarah has been the British and Irish Orthoptic Society's Lead Clinician on Specific Learning Difficulties since 2010 and routinely organises and presents at a variety of medical conferences. She is also accredited by the Health Professions Council and is showcased on the Allied Health Professional's national database of experts. Locally Sarah is on the committee for EyeCan (formally The Jersey Blind Society)
Sarah is registered with major private health insurance companies including AXA PPP, BUPA and SimplyHealth.
